Payment and Cancellation Policy

Payment Terms

  • Rates are in Canadian dollars
  • Assiniboine Lodge accomodation rates do not include tax and are subject to 12% HST tax.
  • All other rates, including helicopter, include taxes.
  • Two night minimum stay is required.
  • Mastercard, Visa and cheques accepted.
  • Cancellation and medical insurance is recommended.
  • A waiver must be signed and mailed to the reservation office before a booking is confirmed.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Tax rates are subject to any increase implemented by the Provincial and/or Federal governments.
  • Assiniboine Lodge reserve the right to charge a helicopter fuel surcharge if fuel price increase.

Deposit Schedules

  • Full payment is required to confirm two night booking. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date.
  • A deposit of $500.00/person is required to confirm bookings over 2 nights. Deposit is due within 30 days of invoice date. Final payment is due 10 weeks prior to your trip date.
  • Full payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice for bookings made 10 weeks prior to the trip date.
  • Full payment is due at the time of booking by credit card for booking made less than six weeks prior to departure.
  • If initial deposit is not received by the due date your reservation is not confirmed and the space will be resold.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

  • A $200.00 per person cancellation processing fee will be charged for all cancellations.
  • The full amount is non-refundable, if cancelled less than 10 weeks prior to trip departure. If the space is resold, the deposit and final payment will be refunded less the $200.00 per person cancellation processing fee.
  • Cancellations made less than ten weeks prior to departure and before the final payment is received are subject to payment of the outstanding balance. If the space is resold, the balance will be refunded less the $200.00 per person cancellation processing fee.
  • Dates are non-transferable.
  • No refunds for trips already in progress.
  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to access conditions.

Helicopter Cancellations Policy

  • Full refund for cancellations made 10 weeks prior to trip departure.
  • $20.00 per person cancellations processing fee applies for cancellations made not less than 48 hours prior to departure.
  • No refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure.

Trip Delays due to Cancelled Helicopter Flights

  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for consequences of cancelled helicopter flights due to weather conditions.
  • There is no refund for the lost night of accomodation for incoming visitors.
  • Visitors are not required to pay for the additional nights stay if their outgoing helicopter flight was cancelled.
  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for the additional cost of accomodation incured for incoming visitors.
  • Assiniboine Lodge is not responsible for missed travel for departing visitors.
  • If weather conditions allow, helicopter flights will resume the following day.
